So I researched and researched: where the hell could a queer, disabled, Black lady like me even BE safely? Where can people like me BE together, intentionally? And, my loves, I landed on Portugal.
It ranks high on proactive climate resilience. It offers universal healthcare. It's one of the few countries actively welcoming U.S. expats.
